Terms of Service

This page is maintained by the Virtual Asset Service Providers Association of Ghana ("VASPA Ghana", "we", "us") to describe the terms under which you may use vaspaghana.com and its member platform (the "Service"). By registering an account or accessing the Service, you agree to these terms.
1. Eligibility
The Service is intended for licensed and applicant virtual asset service providers operating in or serving Ghana, their staff, and ecosystem partners. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement on behalf of yourself or the organisation you represent.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of your registration information, the security of your credentials, and all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at info@vaspaghana.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Membership
Membership tiers, benefits, and fees are described on the Membership page. Membership is granted for a 12-month term unless otherwise stated and is subject to our Refund Policy. VASPA Ghana may suspend or terminate membership for material breach of these terms, non-payment, or conduct that harms the association or its members.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not upload unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content.
- Do not use the Service to send spam, malware, or unsolicited marketing.
- Do not attempt to breach security, access data not intended for you, or reverse engineer the platform.
- Community discussions must remain professional. Harassment, discrimination, and disclosure of confidential regulator communications are prohibited.
5. Compliance tools disclaimer
Templates, workflows, and reference material provided in the compliance suite (AML/CDD, sanctions screening, STR filing, Travel Rule, risk scoring) are decision-support tools. They do not constitute legal, regulatory, or tax advice, and VASPA Ghana does not warrant that any output will be accepted by a regulator. You remain solely responsible for your compliance obligations and should engage qualified counsel where appropriate.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, its content, and its trademarks are owned by VASPA Ghana or its licensors. Members receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for the duration of their active membership. Content you upload remains yours; you grant VASPA Ghana a licence to host and display it as needed to operate the Service.
7. Fees and taxes
Fees are stated in USD or GHS as displayed at checkout. You are responsible for any applicable taxes or bank charges. Fees are non-refundable except as set out in our Refund Policy.
8. Third-party services
The Service integrates payment, email, and hosting providers. Your use of those integrations is also subject to the providers' own terms.
9. Warranties and liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, VASPA Ghana's aggregate liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.
10. Termination
You may close your account at any time by emailing info@vaspaghana.com. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (fees owed, IP, disclaimers, liability, governing law) do so.
11. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email and in the member portal at least 14 days before they take effect.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Accra, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction.
